SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Sisters Empowering Sisters Girl Talk is a youth mentorship & entrepreneurship program. Our objective is to disconnect young girls off social media and to connect them with their gifts, talents and abilities by pushing them to dream through entrepreneurship. We also develop the youth through trades, crafts, vocational, and life skill programs, that the school system has taken out. Youth are also educated through the “Domestic Bootcamp”, which is designed to teach children domestic lifestyles; such as ironing, washing dishes, folding clothes, proper dining etiquette, etc. The program also addresses education, pregnancy, drug abuse, media literacy, adolescent health, violence prevention, sports participation and early business entrepreneurship. We aim to create a business partnership with the public-school system and community to build a solid foundation with the youth. We empower young girls of all ages to develop a deeper understanding of who they are by building strong relationships and providing an informal educational program that encourages them to take responsible risks and master physical, intellectual and emotional challenges.

Girl Talk Entrepreneurship Program also provides programs that foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills. Training our youth on how to follow their dreams of being entrepreneurs and business owners."We" are on a mission to save lives by developing & empowering our girls through teaching them Entrepreneurship skills.

MENTORSHIP

Our mentees learn from their mentors. We are changing the system of the world one girl at a time. Our mission is to cultivate, motivate, activate as well as elevate girls into their purpose and destiny.

YOUTH DISCUSSIONS AND WORKSHOPS

"WE" have real moments at Girl Talk!. Girls need a platform just to release. We have to learn how to hear the cry of a girl. Giving them the opportunity to express themselves. If we don't they will hold in issues, sometimes even own other people issues...Girl Talk, is Real Talk!!

We're teaching our precious girls how to serve our community through giving. When we all do a little, we can all accomplish a lot.
