SES Girl Talk

ABOUT

MISSION
SES Girl Talk was established in 2014. The creation of SES Girl Talk came from a vision given to the President Angela McNair immediately following her late husband's death, Willie McNair, which had great affect on her daughter Amber Rae. Amber was very close to her father as he was her provider, #1 gymnastic's cheerleader, side coach, and best friend. After his passing, she became angry, depressed and lost her hope and passion for Gymnastics. She walked away from Gymnastics and pretty much shut down. She no longer had motivation and drive. During this hard time she connected to our Girl Talk program where she was not only an asset to helping other girls, but also received her breakthrough, motivation and drive. She is Girl Talk's biggest advocate and now back into Gymnastics, stronger and better as ever!
We are committed to helping young girls, ages 6 -18, develop a deeper understanding of who they are while building strong/positive relationships and to help move young women to another level spiritually, financially & emotionally in their health and with their families.
SES, Inc. Girl Talk Mentoring and Entrepreneurship Program provides an informal education program that encourages girls to take risks and master physical, intellectual and emotional challenges. Our program addresses math & science education, pregnancy, drug abuse prevention, media literacy, economic literacy, adolescent health, violence prevention, sports participation and business/entrepreneurship.
The purpose of SES, Inc. Girl Talk Mentoring and Entrepreneurship Program is to provide early intervention and prevention services through the mentoring relationships to girls, ages 6 -18, that are at risk of many different life challenges. SES, Inc. Girl Talk Mentoring and Entrepreneurship Program also provides programs that foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills. The Mentorship program will inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold while assisting them with life changing experiences and real solutions to the unique issues that many girls face. The strategies within this program are designed to encourage the girls to dream beyond the often oppressive conditions of life and emerge as young ladies. SES, Inc. Girl Talk Mentoring and Entrepreneurship Program is designed to empower the youth and to inspire bravery among teenage girls.
